CONFIDENTIALITY
The confidentiality of your patient's Medical Record / Professional Document or Project is held to the highest standard. Each IC transcriptionist is provided with a confidentiality agreement ensuring the privacy of dictation and transcription for any project accepted.
Confidentiality can only be assured when using secure methods of transfer. New federal standards state that transmitting patient medical records via standard Internet e-mail exposes the practitioner to liability.
We utilize secure FTP sites, as well as secure password protected e-mail direct with CLK Transcription, Inc., when requested.
Our voice files and medical records / professional documentation is transmitted and retrieved through the use of a secure FTP site or your personal e-mail account directly with CLK.
Each dictator is assigned a password protected FTP site that only authorized users can access and retrieve information from. Secure password protected e-mail is exclusive to the client through CLK Transcription, Inc, when requested.
CLK Transcription, Inc will sign a Confidentiality Agreement with all of the clients, to include record retention and documentation. All independently contracted transcriptionists (if utilized) will sign this Agreement as well.
